Rico Drilling on schorching Inferno

i was looking too see what people thought about putting this drilling on the ball

The layout is used for stability and a predictable reaction. If that's what you're looking for then you'll be happy.

All depends on the bowler and his/her PAP.  If your PAP is 5 3/4 over it is going to be fairly long.  If your PAP is 4 1/2 over (like mine), then this drill will rev up sooner for me than the 5 3/4 person.  I need oil and usually a long pattern to make Rico work really well.  I have a Rico Strike Zone I've been using lately.  It need some oil in the front, a great medium condition ball for me.

I had a Rico Scorchin' when I was bowling often.  Very rolly, smooth, didn't go sideways for me.  Good for fresh, slick, long.  The old Regional Pattern 5 and Shark a couple times.

Like I say, it's different for different people, your mileage may vary...

Agreed.

My PAP is 5 5/8 x 1 and for whatever reason I get an obnoxious amount of backend with this layout now.  Might be the 3-4 degrees of axis tilt I picked up recently.
