Hoinke
« on: July 25, 2004, 09:08:32 PM »
We’ll have a team of BR members at the Hoinke, Western Bowl, Cincinnati, Oh, Aug 7/8 from about noon on.

Everyone is welcome to stop by and say hi, or even join in the fun.

Here’s the lineup so far;

Thongprincess – Doesn’t wear a thong and she sure isn’t a princess.  Our token lefty.

Livespive:  Come by and watch his patented delivery.  4 wiggles & a heave.

Card79 & Kendog:  Could have been NFL linebackers,  Can’t put these two and Livespive on the approach at the same time, close to 1000# total, exceeds most structural limits.

Srkegler:  I could shoot the big scores if it wasn’t for all those stone head pins.  The hoinke started giving out head pin dummy towels just so I could win something.

Hope to meet some more of you.

Hey SrKegler,

Would you be able to give us a recap of your scores as well as the conditions faced at the Hoinke up your return?  I'll be heading there myself in October for my first big tournament and would love the extra info.  Thanks.

Bearfighter,

Sure, I’ll post what Thongprincess shoots, that’s always good for a few laughs.  The other lefties won’t let her bowl in California, they’re trying to make her switch and bowl right-handed.

Thanks... I've bowled there four years ago but wasn't eligible for tournament play.  From what I remember, they were medium-heavy with dry backends resulting in quite a bit of carrydown.

The real truth is the Californians are getting tired of me kicking them around.  I need some new people to kick around

And I do wear thongs, you know the kind you wear on your feet aka flip flops/zorries.  I hate shoes and only wear real shoes when I have to.

If I recall right SrKegler did win his towel last year

Seriously though, we had a good time last year and I look forward to meeting up with some of you again and hopefully meeting some new members.  I'll be flying in to Chicago next Wednesday and causing trouble in Chicago a few days before terrorizing Cincinnati

My Head Pin Dummy towel is GREEN

If you want a few good laughs, check out the prices in the pro shop inside Western Bowl, too

I guess I should pay more attention to the site.  I would have liked to made it to this years.  I had a blast last the last time I met with fellow BR memebers.   I hope you guys knock them dead.  Please let me know how you guys shot.   I am sure you can score better then I did.
