Bowled Aug 23rd doubles (4 pm) and singles (2 pm).
Low-end of the house.
Backends were fairly dry, BUT with carry down.
Shot was around 15 on both sides, if you had decent hand. If you topped the ball at all, or were late and projected the ball out to 8-10 board it was 2-8-10, 2-4-5-7-10, or washout.
If you had hand and accuracy, shot was hittable (on both sides).
Young (20ish) righty (219 average) with quite a bit of speed and hand shot 711 in doubles with us. His partner gave him 440-something . . . not a happy camper, didn't say much, as his partner wzs his dad. :-0

I shot 224-190-180-167 = 761 + 63 = 824 in singles.
Doubles 227-193-200 = 620 (30 clean)
Partner shot 178-176-204 = 558
620 + 558 + 105 hdcp = 1283

My partner used a Storm Hot Rod Pro (one ball bowler)
I tried a Phenom Unleashed, Storm Sky Bolt, Storm Barb Wire, and a Columbia Trooper (urethane). Ended up using the Urethane ball in doubles. The PU worked well from inside (about 20 to 15)

Was a lot of fun...haven't been to the Hoinke in about 5 years.
Had a lot of laughs with the Mac, the score monitor, who was 85 years.
Kept us pretty loose.

Any other questions, be glad to answer.

You never know what the shot is going to be . . .
I was talking to the pro shop operator (can't remember his name for the life of me), and his opinion is to play around the 15 board. 3 balls should be enough.
Make sure you enter the "Just for the Fun of It" jackpot. Costs $5.00, pays out 30 different combo prizes. For example, leave the "Greek Church" receive $10.00 . . . Convert the "Greek Church" receive $100.00.

I didn't get in . . . left the Greek Church, and picked it up . . . $110.00 lost. :-(

Have fun.
