Gene add a V2 Strong to that list.
I threw that ball in 4 squads at an ebonite demo days. I wound up buying one and having it drilled there according to the ebonite reps recommendation.
Carry down!, what carry down?.
my league has a big wet dry shot and when the other guys are getting some over/under on the backend from carry down in game 2 and 3, I'm just getting warmed up, the ball rolls through anything. It is a strong cover with 1000 grit(abralon) OOB finish.
I would take it up in grit to maybe 1500-2000 abralon pads before polishing. to me Dull almost always beats Polished on carrydown.
My drilling is simple. The rep told me that the sweet spot for my pin placement, due to track, axis, tilt, revs etc, is right in my ring finger. The cg is kicked out 1/2" on grip line.
This season is going to bring me some cash. It's a tough house. scratch pots are winning with 230's. With this ball in my hands I'm sure I good for at least 1 240 plus game a night.
I never thought I would like Ebonite. after all I'm happy with my Diesels but the V2 rolls a little different and is more angular that a diesel particle. also a little more playable on a fresh house shot.
