« on: March 03, 2007, 10:50:55 PM »
I put together a 20 ball rack for under $10. If anybody wants a picture and a brief description PM me. Material used was 1 2"x6", and 4 2"x3", both 8 foot lenghts.

My boss is on me about having so many bowling balls cluttering up one of his storage areas... maybe if they were organized on a rack he would ease up a bit!
I could use some simple plans for a rack for about 20-30 bowling balls(yes, I have WAY too many!) thanks....

I built mine that holds 16. When I got to the garage I couldn't find my drawing, so I guessed on my length of it. Needless to say, it's longer than our bed......;(

I got a bunch of messages on the ball rack. I made a diagram (not very good) that I will email for those who have inquired. Did not get a photo yet but maybe tonight.

Material (home depot)
1 2"x6" 8ft (cut in 1/2 to make 2 48" pieces for sides)
4 2"x3" 8ft (cut in 1/2 to make 8 48" pieces for rails to hold ball)
1 2"x4" 4ft (cut in 22" lengths to stable sides)
2" screws and glue to hold everything.

I got a ton of messages on the ball rack. I tried to reply to those who sent me an email address. I have picture and drawing I can email out. If somebody can easily post a JPG somewhere let me know and I'll send you the files so we can post a link to the pictures.
