I owe him a big thank you, from now on whenever I choke and throw one through the head pin; I can at least walk away with my head up knowing that I kept it on the lane and that it didn't cost me a 100 G's

Earlier in the match, probably in the 5th frame, Del left a 3-4-6-7 split.  He goes cross lane at it.  There must have been so much oil in the track area that the ball takes off, and goes into the gutter even before it gets to the 3 pin.
