Hot Sauce or Cell Pearl
« on: August 13, 2009, 01:32:43 PM »
I have a choice between a HS or CP for a house shot. I just wanted suggestions on which one to pick. I am a stroker with a slow ball speed with a decent amount of revs. I bowl on a late night house shot and my avg is about an 184 right now. I throw a Hammer vibe that i like very much but I wanted to try a stronger piece.

I can't speak for the Hot Sauce, but I believe the Cell Pearl to be one of the best medium to medium-heavy balls ever made! There is something special about the Nucleus core. Just make sure you have a knowledgeable driller and have your correct pap. Discuss layouts with him and pick the one you think will fit your game and condition. This ball can do many different things, depending on the pin and mb position.

Having both, I can tell you that the Cell Pearl is a more arc-ing ball.  Its a great ball, strong and keeps going.

The Hot Sauce is flippier, its break point sharper.  I'd use the Hot Sauce if your center isn't known for strong backends.  This ball will help.

The Virtual Energy is even flippier then the Hot Sauce but  its cover is stronger and seems to lose energy more then the Hot Sauce.  So my house condition is probably just a bit dry for it.
