you're probably too fast with your feet.  I usually slow my first step down and/or make sure I'm heel/toeing my walk....

Well i usually stand with my heels to the last set of dots and then go forward and release the ball. I was standing there yesterday and couldnt even get to the line thus my release has been off target.

lilphyzx -- This will sound crazy, but it works for me.  For a few shots, start your approach from about five feet behind the approach.  Just walk on up, stepping up on the approach if required, then whenever it feels right, start your swing.  Take seven, eight, nine, however many steps you need.  After a few times you'll feel your timing become natural.  Then go back to your regular approach and try to keep that natural feeling.  --  JohnP

Do not fight it, Grasshopper, the swing must be natural always.  Once the swing is natural, simply push away earlier or later until it you become one with your swing.

Muscling the ball is the road to Chaos in all its forms...
