« on: July 12, 2007, 09:52:25 AM »
im looking for a ball that has a pretty weak core and coverstock like the ice or black ice but since they discontinued those i need something new i want to be able to drill it strong so i can get a cleaner reaction on lanes were the oil and dry is scattered and on sport shots so it reacts later in teh lane

             and help woudl be appreciated

If the core is what you're looking for, look at the Bash, a Tornado is about as weak as Ebonite gets, IMO.

Go with a Bash and do a 2 inch drill.  Place the pin 2 inches from your PAP with the cg at or near your center of grip and no weight hole.  I have a Black Ice drilled this way and it is by far the smoothest rolling ball I have ever owned.  There is no such thing as flip or angularity with this type of layout.

If your looking for other companies look for the Vibe from Hammer, the new Jazz for Columbia and the Tropical from Storm. Roto Grip also has a nice weak ball with the Neptune. All of these would be able to do what your looking for.
