entry angle problem

My teammate is throwing a black widow sting pin up between bridge and is having serious entry angle problems. he's leaving 7 and 10's up the ying yang, and trying all different lines. i think he should polish it to 4000 abralon because the sting comes stock 2000 no polish. we're on wood lanes with clean backends, i just think the polish will help through the heads and give him the entry angle to carry the corner pins. agree?

Nope.  If he's leaving corners he is coming in late.
If he was entering the pocket high/tight he would be leaving 4 pins.

Try 1000 abralon.

depends on how his ball is entering the pocket. if your talking purely about entry angle and not deflection. id agree with jbuzz

the sting is a strong ball and we roll on wood lanes which tend to dry up rather fast. most guys in the league use a polished ball. i also think he is burning up and losing energy as the ball makes it move into the pocket. this is why i think maybe throw some polish on and see if it helps

Leaving both corners means the ball is probably rolling out a bit before it rolls through the pins.  

I would try shine, or 4000 Abralon, or both
