Title: How long would it take you to quit?
Post by: 9andaWiggle on March 22, 2004, 08:17:50 PM
How many frames/games/nights/years would it take you to quit if you stopped throwing strikes?  For instance, let's say you go tonight - 30 frames and 0 strikes.  Would you quit?  Let's say you go back, and again, 30 frames with 0 strikes.  Would 6 games and 0 strikes make you quit?  How about 9 games? 12? 30?  At what point would you hang it up?

I think, for me, after 4 weeks I'd be looking for something else to do - probably because I'd be kicked off the league though... LOL.

Never........

I am not someone that gives up when the going
gets tough.  I would just suck it up and keep
working at it until I figured out what I was doing
wrong.

Some say that my obsession to be the best is one
of my best qualities..... and others say it is my
worst because I never do anything and be happy
with being just ok at it.

Never!!  If my 8 yr. old son can bowl an entire season (15 weeks) with only 1 strike, so can I!!

4 weeks ago, I go front 8, ring a 10 and out for 279.  I vowed to quit that game.

Just DONT TEMPT ME!

Man, some of you are gluttons for punishment! LOL If I went 15 weeks without a strike, you'd see all my bowling stuff in the river!  Personally, I'd rather play golf in the snow rather than bowl a season without getting any strikes!  But... that's just me.
