how many 270 plus games did u bowl before u got 300?

well so far since ive jumped up to mens league from junior league 4 years ago (13 at the time of that) i have shot a 290 couple of 280s and 23 270s and i just dont get y it is that i mess up just 1 frame i just dont get it maybe somebody could have a hint on how to carry a 10 pin once itd be nice

this number is going to sound absolutely rediculous....but since i started bowling around age 14 the number has to be somewheres around 80-90 w/ a 290 2 297s a 298 and 299, ive thrown 2 289s (both 9 pins) this year and prolly 10+ 278 or 279s threw another 279 2nite w/ front 8...just cant seem to get that magical 300 game....im gonna keep pluggin away though

I threw well over 100 270 plus games before i shot my first 300 last year---but thats in 12 years of bowling

I lost count over about a dozen but I wouldn't venture far to say that I threw over 20 270+ games without a 3. 260's don't even get me started haha. I didn't shoot a 280 game or any 290 game before my 300 either.

i just had 1. a 289 when i was 13 on a terrible shot. it wasnt until i was 18 until i shot 300 but all that time i never really was a big game shooter. just a 180-240 type bowler that averaged about 215

I have been bowling seriously since I was 12, so in 9 years now... I couldn''t even tell you, it has to be in the 20+ range, and 3 weeks ago shot 299 stone 7 ( I am RH ) and 287 the following week. I feel like I should have about 5-10 300s at least so far, but I should get it done this year.

20 year's of bowling, 11 year's with a decent enough game.

11 year's and in that time I've shot at least 150 game's over 270. My highest game is 289 and 286. No 300's as of yet.

the month of Nov, I had 3-279s, 1-278, and a 298.  It will come when it comes.  not too worried about it.

If you're like me (and I haven't blown a 300 by leaving a 10 pin in a long time) you'll figure out how to carry the 10 and start leaving 8's and 9's.  Stupid F***ing game.

Don't know how many I've had, but it's too damn many.  Just rubs salt in the wound to see a 170 avg. hack cross over or crumble beak shots for half or more of the 12 and get the ring when I've been solid so many times and took it in the *** on one shot in the 10th.

Probably about 60-70 with 2-299's and a 297 before I threw the first one(300). Just be patient-took me 2 years after the first one to shoot 300 again.
