Bowling for Money

I was wondering, who here bowls for the money to make, or who does because they thinks it is fun?
My vote is for the money, I don't think I would ever want to do this if I didnt have a chance to get paid.

I bowled for money to pay for my equipment. In the past (urethane days), I made enough to cover my equipment and then some. Since I've returned, I find it more challenging (i.e. more league & bracket bowlers throwing higher numbers) but nonetheless a lot of fun! There's some action bowlers at a couple of houses I frequent. Anywhere from $50-500 per man. Few old-school vets as well

Tonight is a prime example of how I make money bowling. On Tuesday nights I get into brackets. Since I average 230+ on Tuesdays, me making a few bucks is almost a given. It's usually good for around $50-$60 give or take. I don't hit tournaments because I just can't afford it.
