How many balls have you bought this year?

Me?  Eight.  The reasons were that I didn't want to throw just one brand anymore, allowing me to pick up some that I've always wanted to try.  I also wanted to get rid of anything that's been plugged/redrilled.

Also, there was an extreme change in PAP after my wrist injury, making most of my equipment much weaker.

Four, but I'm not even bowling in a league this year due to a job change. Three of those remain undrilled.

 Pretty sad when you're not even bowling and STILL buying balls.

10+ easily. all new

because of ebay and bowlingball.com. $70 or less shipped to the house makes it hard to say no. That being said I've slowed down and started even selling off a few.

I guess there is no economic downturn in the bowling ball industry. I have bought one ball this year, mainly because I only bowl one league anymore and it's the house china. I would love to be able to buy more, but money is tight right now.

Zero, zilch, nadda!

Have not bought a new or used ball in 2 year's now. The 2 I'm currently using are doing just fine with no sign's of weaking. I have 7 or 8 ball's total, all are 2+ year's old with no plan's to buy anything any time soon.

so far since july 12th ( clutch,sideways,break point,global globe,golden globe) and i have not even seen the inside of a center since my surgery 7/12. plus 2 for wife

Two:  Brunswick Avalanche Pearl and Lane #1 G-Force Nebula.  I still can''t believe I got the Nebula for a steal...  Bought it NIB for $105 drilled (pro shop sold it as old new stock).

Edit:  Okay, this site doesn''t like semicolons and keeps adding extra apostrophes for some weird reason...

Bought 4 this year: Link, Power Swing, Solaris, 505C, GT-1 (buying this morning). Might buy 1 more next month before the year is up, it's either the 505A, Lane Breaker or Desperado.

Also got a U-Turn Particle for a trade and my teammate just gave me his Momentum for free last night.

I''ve slowed down purchasing considerably this year. Maybe it''s the economy or perhaps it''s the pricing set up by the NEW EMPIRE. I buy NEW and although I see a lot of attractive offers for USED I haven''t had much GOOD experience with them. My buying record:

2009 6
That includes a JIGSAW I just received!

ON EDIT: Want to mention that this year I''ve tried X-OUTS and too my surprise they have been EXCELLENT balls .. worth trying!

This is a sad commentary. I don't need another bowling ball, yet I keep on buying! Truly sad.

So far this year.....5. Three new and two used. A Nomad solid, T-Road solid, an AZO Pure Tactics, all new. Picked up a used VG and a used Hot Rod pearl.
