How many balls have you bought this year?

Me?  Eight.  The reasons were that I didn't want to throw just one brand anymore, allowing me to pick up some that I've always wanted to try.  I also wanted to get rid of anything that's been plugged/redrilled.

Also, there was an extreme change in PAP after my wrist injury, making most of my equipment much weaker.

i bought 3 (rattler uprising apex obesssion) sold my rattler, only punched up my uprising but i might get rid of it.

Five, four new and one used. (NEW) 2 Cherry Vibe, 1Rogue Cell, 1 Quantum Hook Overseas release and ONE used 900 Global Creature. These are good for awhile until I re-learn how to bowl better again. Doesn't get any younger any more..

2 this calendar year.  Last winter I purchased a Virtual Gravity and Second Dimension.  I have not purchased a ball this bowling season.  I did receive a Reign as a replacement for an Attitude Shift that cracked.

Bought about 8, but sold 9.  Net reduction of 1.

Update bought 10, but still sold 9.  So a net addition of 1.

You have a lot more disposable income than I do, apparently...


I've bought one: an Onyx Vibe. Need to buy a second, because I've been using just the Onyx and an old Storm Jolt Pearl in league, and I need to fill the gap between the two...

Only 2 - one NIB amd a used one. The new was a G-3 for which I had to wait for more than a year (due to import problems - I had wanted it in early 2008!), the used one a plugged Proactive Power Groove for small money for a drilling experiment.

My arsenal is very complete, and there is no need for replacements right now. Also, there's little on the market that tempts me. I do not seem to fare well with aggressive high end stuff (the last ball before that, a Smash Zone, was a big disappointment - did not match up with my game at all), so I keep up my "2nd choice" arsenal of older balls.

New Breed PP looks interesting, though, and maybe I get the chance on a ball from ABS in Japan - THAT would make me weak...

The Reign has only one game on it...WAY too strong in the backend. However, it fits a need in my arsenal...

The Natural is sweet pin down under middle 5*4....when there is friction and I don't have to swing the ball to the friction.....it is money!!

None in two years. I have had a couple given to me by a friend who bowls SASBA. Even on the sport shots we bowled on this past summer through the Kegel program, I used the stuff two years old or more. Equipment is too expensive in this economy and I am trying to save whatever I can to pay off my house.

I just hit lucky number 13 since July, 19 since the One Pearl was released Feb. 3rd or so... What can I say, you have to know what you sell, and our pro shop does!

I have bought two that I have actually drilled the dynamo and the solaris requiem. but i also bought a mega friction 2nd which i ended up reselling b4 i even drilled it. I bought a NIB Sapphire Zone for my godfather. I will probably be getting 2-3 in the next few weeks before TNBA in Dayton
