I see so if a slight shift in pap can significantly change ball reaction, why do pro shop operators at times work with an assumed pap?
Also how much can working on a release change your pap? I ask because all the equipment I had used up to this point were drilled with a pap when I was just started to bowl. I had gone through a lot of practice with my release but lately even though my new release feels consistent and leveraged, I can't control my ball reaction.
At first I thought it was the lane conditions, but I've been to 3 houses and the situation remains the same. I thought it was the ball dying, but my reaction is too inconsistent to be that. I also thought it was my new release, but I can consistently control my low flaring Maxim just fine for some reason. This is why I'm thinking it might have to do with my pap unless I'm mistaken.
