How much is Open Play at your local center?
« on: March 17, 2005, 07:28:50 AM »
I think my local center has Open Play (after 6pm) set at $3.50 plus $2.25 for shoes.

Not as bad as some places I hear about.  Someone mentioned the other day about paying $5 a game!!  Eek!

How about your center?

weekends = 1.75 a game
weekdays = dollar games

I got my permit today...hello bowling

The desk lady knows me quite well now and gives me discounts all the time, when she sees me walk in she sometimes turns on a pair before I make it to the desk. The lanes could be better maintained but just can't beat the people.

Playaway Lanes, Winchendon, Mass: $2 a game during the day, $3 a game at night, $3.50 on the weekends. League bowlers get open play at $1.50 a game.

Gardner Ten Pin, Gardner, Mass: $3 a game during the day, $3.65 at nights and on weekends. League bowlers get open play at $2 a game.

I have bowled at centers in New York City where the open play is up to $8 a game during the evenings and weekends....
