How often do you see a 7-9 as a righty

This week in league I was all over the pocket.  I only missed the pocket a few times. Was gettin tapped quite a bit of times but was happy that I was throwing a consistant ball (I have been having timing problems this year and shootin like crap).  Well one shot I threw felt really good but came in a little high.  I was thinkin 9 pin or mabye 4-9 when it hit the pocket but I ended up leaving a 7-9.  How does that happen?

Not the same for me.. Once every other month maybe.. But haven't had one since i went down to 15 lb, though it's only been close to 3 months.. Not sure if that has an effect..

Personally, I do not think that I ever left it, but I have witnessed this one when the ball was released inproperly, with much spin/side rotation and low speed - hitting like a wet donut and making the pins rather tumble than fall.

How about leaving it on consecutive pocket shots? I did that during league about a month ago. And, Dizz, I don't spin the ball and throw with slow speed; I am around 18.5 mph with a high track. Sometimes junk just happens!

I actually left my first one ever, as a righty, earlier this season ... high flush hit and we were ALL surprised (even the other team aaid that it wasn't right) !!!

Yeah this was actually the first one I ever left myself.  I got pretty much the same reaction you got.  Everyone was like what the hell.

Ive thrown it off the corner before and left it lol.

The other day I tried ripping the cover off the ball, already have a decent rev rate, but got a little more on it with my Special Agent and I came in a little high and left a 4-6-9. Ive NEVER left that and almost picked it up by accident.

As a lefty, I have left several 8 - 10's in the last month, it's the same as a righty 7 - 9.  In my case, they all appeared to be slightly high entering the pocket, with the ball driving straight through the 5 pin, and missing the 8 pin.  I throw 15 lb. at about 15 - 15.5 mph, BTW.

Up until about a month ago, I couldn't recall leaving that more than once or twice a season.  In the last month I have left 1 or 2 of them every session.  I don't understand why I am suddenly leaving these, but it could be possible that I am getting a few more revs on the ball off my hand.

It is essentially the 4-7-9 with the 4 peeled off, caused by the ball being too high on the headpin.

Haha...the good ole 7-9...a guy who bowls in my Tuesday nite league left 3 of them this week....including back to back to end the first game...the 7-9 is actually a rather common occurrence this year on the right side...not sure why
