Nick in ball path

I purchased a Roto Grip Cell last week and only have about 30 games on it. I just finished bowling this evening and while cleaning the ball I noticed a small nick about a 1/4" wide by about 1/3" long right in line with my ball path.Does anyone think this is something I should be concerned with ?

Nope---take it to your pro shop.They should be able to fill it with super glue,let it set,smooth it down and you're ready to bowl.

Probably wouldn't make ny difference, if it is that small.  I have a ball ( an older ball) that got two pretty ugly scratches/cuts on it right in the ball track.

  Was going to leave it at the shop to get it fixed after league that night, but ended up shootin 279/779 with it.  If it didn't have enought effect to keep me from scoring, i didn't see any use in fixing it.

  I still have the ball and use it from time to time.  Still performs allright and doesn't seem to be affected at all.

  Unless it is just a personal thing, i probably wouldn't worry about one that small.

It is what we call a beauty mark, easily fixed. Don't lose any sleep over it, take it to your local pro shop. They will do a good job

It won't have any effect on the performance. If you try to have it fixed, when they sand the ball down to make it look good again after plugging it, if not done properly, you could end up with a flat spot. Then you WILL have a problem. Just leave it alone and you'll be fine. =:^D

It really depends on your competitive level.  If you're just a league bowler, then the damage won't have that big an effect on your overall performance.  If you compete at higher levels (NABI, Nationals, Hoinke, PBA, etc.) then you might get it taken care of because it might have a more profound effect on ball performance on tighter conditions.
