HOW QUICK CAN ONE WIN ALL AVAILABLE USBC AWARDS?
« on: October 06, 2005, 01:01:09 AM »
So far this season all won with Hot Rod Hybrid and Hot Rod Pro Stock Pearl.

300, 11 in a row & 299 last night.  Remaining to get this year 298, 800 & 900

Just goes to show how easy the game can get when things get to easy.  I know the shot may be easier now than years ago but as I always say.  If it's easy, make it look easy.  If you can't, Shhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

300, 11 in a row, and 299 in one night.  Good job.  That's your 800 right there.  It's no less than 869 and could have been as high as 896.

At the minimum, you need two three-game sets to get all the honor score awards.  Get the 800 with 297-298-299 for an 894 series.  You'll get the 11-in-a-row plaque, the 298 ring and the 299 ring.  Then go 300-300-300 for the 900 series and 300 ring.

You could pick up a dutch-200 or all-spare game with the Big-4 and 7-10 patches at the same time.  Back-to-back-to-back dutch-200 games will get you a triplicate award as well.  So you could get four patches in one night since you could only get two of the non-split patches simultaneously.

You might qualify for the 600-series award as well, but if your goal is honor scores, you probably won't qualify for it.  The 894 or 900 would also probably net you a 140-pins over average series patch.  Depending on the 11-in-a-row, you might be able to pick up a Big-4 or 7-10 patch there.  Best bet is to get them during the all-spare or dutch games.

BUT, wouldn't you have to wait all season to win all the awards? Doesn't the USBC offer league champion pins like the ABC did (I got one for my scratch league last year).
