Slumps happen to the best of us. The best way to cope with it is not to get aggravated at bad shots, or whatever the case may be. Possibly you're doing something different, which is causing you to develop a bad habit. If so, try to remember how you were throwing it before. Also, remember that the slump, most of the time, will come to pass, and you'll be back to normal.

Hope this helps!

I just went through something similar.  Everything felt just fine, but I was just bowling terrible and it drove me nuts.  I had a friend that I've bowled with for years, but hadn't seen in quite some time.  He watched me practice one day and picked up on a few bad habits I was doing and didn't realize it.  Got those corrected and have been back to normal ever since.
If you have someone that knows your game well, have them watch you throw a few shots or games and see if they pick up on something that might be causing your temporary slump.

sometimes it's an easy fix
sometimes it's a much deeper issue

an extra set of eyeballs from a coach or trusted bowling friend can often spot any physical issues are going on.

if your averaging 06, then your physical game is there

it's probably just lack of focus or disinterest as the seasons are changing.

you might be thinking too much

just line up and roll it
trust your game and let it happen

don't try to force it, and don't beat yourself up
stay positive

Don't feel bad about a slump due to the fact that they happen to everyone. Every year I seem to struggle in Jan and Feb. I have no idea of what happens but those two months are my WORST. Best thing to do is try to get back to basics.

treid everything myself. i even carried luck charms and tried yoga. in the end it was a combination of my focus and my old danger zone i pulled out from under the dust and mice in my garage.
lets face it... this isnt deadlifting or picking up women.. its BOWLING!!!! Stop acting tough when you roll 4 strikes in a row!!!

When a house bowler misses the mark, misses the break point and strike, for many ppl its called a wallshot. When a pro does that its call adjustment

When a house bowler gets his finger stuck in the ball and fall on the lanes, for many ppl its called lame bowler. When a pro does that its called the Machuga flop! ha i like this one.

I too have been in a strange slump. I score fairly well the 1st game and after that I pound the pocket from every angle possible with every different idea I can come uo with to no avail,my carry is just gone. Monday nite 1st game I shoot around 220 and the 2nd game I had 7 out of 10 9 counts. Mostly 10 pins. Tried everything I usually do to fix it. Didn't happen just got worse.

I have also been in a slump lately for the last 5 weeks, had not been shooting very consistent.  Had my teammate watch me and determined that I was doing two things rushing the line and coming around the ball on occasion.  Worked on those over the last couple of weeks and focused on spares and I seem to be coming out of the slump over the last week I shot my two highest series for the year.

Take it back to the basics and focus on spares and you will hopefully come through it.

Don't give up and good luck.

the streak continue. Last I only shot 483 series.  Don't know why. Ever since I hit the gym I've been bowling like crap. Could this be the case?

well of course. your body is changing. you are using muscles you prolly havent used in a while. just bowl a couple games of practice a week along with hitting the gym. ive been through it. it will take a little bit of time. it will all come back to you.

I had that problem until I got the operation.  It's called abdomectomy.
Thats where they cut two holes in your stomach, so when your head is up your A S S you can still see. lol
