2handedvolcano maybe you should post a short video of yourself bowling. I find it hard for an adult of 25yrs to be using 10lbs balls. Unless you are handicapped with physical disorders. Then I could see the acception of 10lb balls.

He did post a very short video earlier in one of the other threads.  It was difficult to tell, but it looked like he was using a two-handed chest high release.  No back swing, just a release from the front of his chest.

He should post a new video showing him from the front. This would give him better support from people on here.

If he doesn't post a new video the only safest sport him may only be checkers on his computer. Wait... He might get electrocuted if he beats the computer. Pin the tail on the donkey. Might fall and pin himself. Can't play chess with a senior citizen. He might get attacked with a pawn. Can't waste a knight. Jacks with a child. He could get ninja'd from the kid. Those jacks hurt.

2handedvolcano,  If you are releasing the ball from about chest high, that is the cause of your ball bouncing.  Most bowlers try to release the ball just slightly above the surface of the lane unless they are trying to loft the ball for certain lane conditions.  It used to be said that you wanted the ball to glide onto the lane like landing a plane, minimize the bounce.  You are going to have to go and see a certified instructor who can watch you bowl and make the appropriate suggestions for your style.
