Increasing side rotation applied will give you the potential of having 'more' hook/ more backend.  Whether or not you will see more 'backend' will depend on additional factors like the conditions your bowling on of course and ball used.  It's possible the ball might just hook more overall and not all on the 'backend'.

Can a ball be drilled to increase backend?

yes asymmetrical are easier to fine tune imo But on a symmetrical ball usually 5- 5 1/2 pin to pap and a finer surface like 4k abralon or polished will retain energy and back end more.

Buy a Hot Sauce it will back end all you ever need and more, Storm Products are better for this type of reaction like the Rapid Fire series or 2nd Dimension.

The correct coverstock surface, rotation, and drilling will help.

As long as the back ends are good, a pearl reactive will be strongest. Keep in mind though, that every ball needs adequate friction in order to change direction.

Have your bowling center strip and clean the last 20' of the lanes.

That'll backend anything...

Finger dancing.  Ron Clifton covered this point in an article some time ago.

Merely adjusting the positions of your index and pinkie fingers can change the amount a ball hooks on the lane.

I bet you are throwing it too end over end.  Have you tried getting on the side of it?

I have tried everything. I think I am the only guy who can throw a Sauce straight and I am trying to hook the ball.

What is your speed?  Hard to get a 20+ mph ball to wrinkle.  You might try taking some video and posting it so we can SEE what's going on rather than trying to diagnose from a distance.

I have the same issue with my Total NV and Complete NV. This just drives me nuts.

Wouldn't happen to have a camera/cell phone that can do video, would you?  Seeing how you're throwing the ball might help.
