How to Hit the Line

I was reading the post about scribing balls, and noticed that one poster stated that scribing does not make you more accurate, hitting the line does. I was thinking the same thing and got to wondering:

Do any of you have any tips that you are willing to share on how to hit the line with your drill bit?  I simply try to look down the line and make sure that the bit is lined up with the edge of the line, and then spin the bit to the other side to make sure that the bit is in square.

How is the best way to hit the line?

razor blade. Lock the mill so the bit is just about touching the ball, and then press the razor blade up against the edge of the bit.

+1 on the razor blade.  Also, once you have the bit lined up and the ball locked in, only drill very slightly into the ball.  Stop before the full width of the bit is into the ball.  Stop the press and check your alignment again.  The sides of the bit will be almost touching the ball and you can be sure you are hitting the lines.  If it isn't lined up, adjust as needed.
