what would you say is the key to creating revs like Robert Smith or Michael Fagan?

How is he dissing the answer CRD?  I'm not trying to get involved with something that might be going on between you and chip, just asking what is he dissing he is asking what it takes to push 500+ revs???

How about a list of known players that we all know that are 500+?  Actually I don't think there are really that many.  The sweet spot seems to be the range 360 to 440 range.

If having "huge revs" was the answer don't you think, WRW,Barnes,Duke,Weber etc. would have done what was needed to do so. When WRW first came on the tour he hooked it more than Roth. However it was hit or miss for cashing. He took time off and developed a "straight" game and the rest is history. Especially in today's condition/equipment  control/predictability and repeatability are far more important than revs. Yes the high rev players are fun to watch but......

Revs without accuracy are only good for THS.  Successful PBA players and top level amateurs with high revs have also managed to develop accuracy to go with the revs.  --  JohnP

I have long, slender fingers and have no problem getting a ton of revs.  I also practiced a ton (20 games a day, all summer long)in my teens.  It really doesn't take cupping the ball or an exaggerated wrist motion.  The important thing is feel.  It is getting all of the weight of the ball to your fingertips.  This, along with good follow-through, will maximize whatever wrist turn you can produce.
