I have fairly new ball that is just starting to crack right above the ring finger. See the attached photos. Is there any way to stop it until I can get the ball repaired?

If it's fairly new see if they'll warranty it and just get a new one.
You can stop some cracks by taking a small drill bit and drilling a hole right at the ends of the crack then fill it.
If it's just a small spider crack, I probably would even bother. It will probably be okay till you get it fixed.

With a crack like that, you need to stop it now, if you can.
The other poster mentioned taking a small drill and going to the end if the crack and drilling a small hole there to "stop" the crack. As far as I know, that is the only was to prevent it from getting worse before you fix it, and even then it is no guarantee.
A small drill is fine, as long as you drill out the very end of the crack.
