I''ve recently come into a lot of tilt. Happened when I got my span shortened and readjusted. I went from tracking high to a PAP about 3.75" over and 1" up. Needless to say, I gained a lot of tilt. The best way to explain how to get tilt from my perspective, is to get your fingers up around 8-9 o''clock at the release. Thumb is usually pointing to the right (for righties) for high trackers. From the feel of it, I think my thumb is almost pointing down at release, pushing the fingers way past the 5-6 o''clock which is standard. I still have a lot of hand, but with a lot of tilt and moderate rotation. I went from having to circle the lane, to playing up ten with these release. Ball is more or less spinning down the lane like a top sort of, but without having the fingers doing the spinning in a tradition "spinner release", if you know what I mean. Pretty drastic. Nice when you have to do it, but I can''t for the life of me get back to my high track release.
