I just had a wicked drilled today, and even though the grip is very solid on it, it makes my tornado TPS (90 dollar spare ball lol) feel a little short.
A little history on me...My first fingertip was a standard grip, when i was 12/13 years old. I then got the track flare drilled extended, and to this day i still love the ball (8 yrs). I got a relaxed fingertip Zone, then a few years after a standard messenger.
I knwo that's a lot of different grips, but I finally dug the track out one day when I was struggling, and shot 460 or so for 2 games, and went and got my zone plugged and redrilled for an extended grip. the wicked is extended, and as we speak the messenger is being plugged and redrilled for extended.
My question is, how touchy are we about our grips? Even though all 3 balls are extended grip (zone, tps, wicked), I can tell a slight difference in all 3. I don't think it actually hinders performance, but for a few shots after i pick up another ball, it feels odd.
anyone else this bad, or am i just really sensitive?
