I was bowling on this house shot today and it was all messed up because the oiling machine screwed up and did something weird so they just left the same shot out.  So I said, what the hell, I'll try it out.  I found out that the oil that was put out was a 30' pattern with very light oil from 10 to 10.  I'm a lefty and I really haven't seen the lanes that dry before.  I was still able to manage to average deuce on it for 7 games but I was all over the place and never really found a shot that I liked.  I was curious how some of you experts out there would play on somthing like this or similar to it.  and what equipment would you use.  when I tried throwing on it I had to speed up my ball speed and lower my rev rate even though I'm a medium rev stroker and can play many lines to the pocket.  The ball that seemed to have the most success for me was my old Turbo X (you've probably never even heard of it). and it was at a high gloss polish and I was able to shoot 264 with it for only one game (only one game cause I couldn't keep up my speed throwing it faster).  any suggestions?

I actually love this shot and destroy it when I'm bowling well.  I usually grab a low hooking ball of any type (skid/flip or early and smooth) and just throw it medium speed at the gutter, about 23-27 to a 5-8 board breakpoint and just get a nice roll out.  The amount of early roll or skid I put on the ball depends on how well it is getting through the heads.  I find a low rg ball with a week coverstock works best.

Well, normally i would pull out my Trauma (original) and throw it starting from where i normally start.  Standing 33  and throwing just inside of 4th arrow out to 10.

Now if that doesnt work, i just move deeper.  I know that the ball isnt a TOTAL dry dry ball, but it does give me a very controlable backend.

I have used this ball on a Reverse Block , and basically sat the ball down as close to the gutter or lofting it and rocketing the ball to 10.  I mean i had lots of shots that went brooklyn but theres not much you can do unless u have plastic lol.   I still shot close to 600 so i was happy
