how young were you?

I was 19 when i shot 300 and 21 for 800.  how old were some of you?  what was it like?

19 for 298 yet to shoot 300 but i was 19 when i shot 800 did both of those yesterday

20 for 300, haven't had an 8 yet.  I've only been bowling since I turned 19 (I'm 22 now, b-day's in mid-August), so I don't suppose that's too bad.  I've had a handful of both 3's and 8's in practice, but that isn't good for anything but confidence.  I'll get it one of these days!

45 for my 300, 2 days shy of 47 for my 811 series.

300 when i was just a few days away from 16
800 when i was 17. (was in league play and everything so i was very disapointed when i found out that the person running the league hadn't sanctioned it yet.  2 weeks later it was sanctioned.)

I was 50 years old before i shot my 1st 300,which was 2 years ago.I did get my 1st 800 before the 300.
Now i have 5 300's(2 this year) and 3 800's(1 this year).

So don't give up on getting either one of these honor scores.It will happen when you least expect it.

14 for practice 300 15 for second practice 300..No 800s yet..Close with a 780 but none yet. All practice which like hammy said is only for confidence.. O well..
