Has anyone had any experience bowling on the pba shark at a wood house?  There's a 5 game sweeper this weekend I'm going to try and make and that's what was mentioned to be used.  I've only bowled in the house 1 time and the heads were pretty burned up from what I remember.  Anyways does anyone have any insight on equipment to use and what they saw?  Just want to get some ideas thanks!

Two Points:
-adjust to the condition and take what it gives you.  Play it where your reaction takes you.  Don't be "it's supposed to play here" guy.
-make an effort to preserve the front part of the lane on wood.

If you can keep the ball straighter, I think the Shark could play pretty nice, or at least nicer on wood.  Natural track in the finish becomes a bigger factor, and the shot should open up a bit between 10 and 15 board.  The old shark pattern would have played super on wood.

Good point.  I have probably stated this a dozen times, but worth repeating.  Trying to create added friction to overcome long oil is a self defeating strategy on any surface.  Work on squaring up and getting the ball into a roll.  Good strategy on any surface with a long pattern.  You will be amazed at the carry from a little more finesse and a little less pure power.
