what ball can fill a hole in this aresenal
« on: June 08, 2012, 06:31:14 PM »
Hi all,

I am looking for a  14lb ball for my girlfriend, she has a low ball speed maybe 10-12mph, has a low rev rate.

Cell
Acid
Toxic

I am looking for something pearl that can fit between her original cell and her acid.

any suggestions? I was thinking maybe a Victory road pearl, she doesn't care what brand.

Someone is going to ask you, so it might as well be me. What kind of conditions will she be bowling on and what reaction are you looking for? What do you want the new ball to do in order to fit in between the Cell and the Acid?

Id recommend something asymmetric & hybrid, like for example an infinite theory....shot to shot, house to house, its the most consistent ball ive seen on THS.  I know just a random ball suggestion doesn't really help but that's what I'd get if I had to pick.
In the bag [Infinite Physix, Volatility Torque, Night Road, Phaze III, Burner Solid, Hustle AU]
*Now Testing* IQ Ruby, Renevant, another IQ Tour solid
Coming soon...???

This is a really tough question over the internet to answer, but what kind of shape are the covers in?  All 3 balls you named are notorious for severe ball death, and if they have some age to them they probably hook nothing like when they were new.  At 10-12 mph I am going to bet the balls are laboring downlane as fresh covers would probably be too strong.

The reason that is important is that to fit a ball between a Cell that doesn't hook like day one and a Toxic that doesn't hook like day one is a very different answer than a new Cell and a new Toxic.

This is why I always watch customers throw their current ball they want to base the reaction on so I can see what the ball really does.
