I know what they're putting down, kinda, what do I do?

It's only taken me 7 weeks to really figure out what's been going on in my summer league, but I think I've got it.  I don't know volumes, only reaction.  Seems there's some oil inside 5 and OB from there to the gutter.  The backends are pretty clean.  If I play inside, say through 15 to 7 at the break, it's all good.  Anything right, and you're lucky to stay on the lane.  Any amount of tug, and see ya'!!;P  You'll be lucky to hit the 2-4!!  I've been using my Apocalypse and going to my Eraser PP when the Apoc is too strong.  I've been wanting to attack this more from the outside, but just not sure what to do.  I have a Ravage I bought from DW which he drilled for this type condition -- basically has pin/mb out on the VAL.  Really kills if I can play straight up 5, but....when do you decide to start bellying the ball?

Keep the ravage dull so it loses most of it's energy early, otherwise if you let it get away it will snap too hard. Also try to release the ball with your hand more up the back of the ball to help it burn up in the pocket and not charge the head pin too much. Try and relax your hand and just flow through the target (I figure 10 board standing around 19 letting it out to 7 at about 35ft).

Remember the finger positions that Ron taught us, if you need a little more or less. Watch the ball's rotation all the way down through the pins, watch the order the ball hits the pins and how they fall, that will tell you when to make a move.

Post back and let me know if any of this worked for you and what didn't and we can go on from there.

Best of luck to ya brother man.
