a teammate of mine bowled a 300 last week, but the other team postponed to make up another date. does his 300 still count towards an award?

If it was bowled during the actual league then yes. To my understanding pre-bowled (before the league night) or post bowled (afterwards) do not count towards awards.

The rule as it's written (Rule 50) states "while pre- or post-bowling unopposed".  If he bowled during regular league time, even if the other team was absent, then he's eligible.

Yeah if he wasn't the one pre or post bowling then he should be fine
