I know this has been posted before, but I wanted a good laugh tonight, and it nearly out-did my brother's best man speech at a wedding earlier today.  Note, the key words about 40 some seconds in is, "In a five step approach, the ball does not move in the first step," and again, 2 freakin seconds before he starts his approach he says, "And remember, first step, the ball doesn't move."  Rick Benoit would die and then roll over in his grave if he saw this . .

That guy is pro????? He didnt even take 5 steps, and he had no balance and finished about 2 feet from the line. He makes AMF look terrible.

That's funny.  That hair piece is great too!!  He must count the fact that he fell off the shot a little his 5th step.

LOL , he takes 4 steps the first time, but counts to 5, then he takes 6 steps on the last shot with no ball and counts to 5. Have I been counting wrong for 28 years?

  I think he's just trying to AVERAGE five steps, lol.  I've seen this video several times.

LMAO....seems like a nice guy, I cant understand why in the heck he would put that on you tube....cant he or the person taping him see how VERY bad that was. Hate to crack on people who try to help others, but I just dont understand how that can be put out there.

I can think of a few reasons why this video (and others) keeps resurfacing:


1- The footwork advice given here is actually CORRECT, and we've been doing it wrong all along.

2- Comic relief, as suggested by HamPster.

3- Ed's hair is S-E-X-Y and the women love it...

4 & 5- How many things (steps) did I just mention (take)?

Love the "Florida accent."

On edit, how about starting with your heels at the foul line and going through the motions of a 4 or 5-step delivery without a ball in hand to have some CLUE about a starting point on the approach?  New bowlers just start in the middle and stop too far away from the foul line (especially when you watch kids bowl for the first time).  

This video was awful.
