Title: I have a good idea
Post by: voidkid89 on October 11, 2003, 03:20:26 AM
why doesn't some company make a ball with the exact color scale of the core as on a picture of it on the internet and it be a clear ball.I think seeing your own core would look awseme and they could call it the ghost.

Where were you in 1997 when Ebonite made the "clear wolf"?

That was to show the core.

I think being able to see the core on a reactive ball is the reason they do not really do it. It may be illegal. If you can see the core, wouldn't that be very similiar to marking the axis point? I don't know, I am just speculating.

Hmmmmmm,

How about a clear ball with a clear core?

I wanna see that!!!

Then its like throwing a GIANT clear marble down the lane. That
would be a HEAD turner!!!

I'd buy one!!!!

With my luck(aka wishful thinking)NO company out there
will produce one.

Ok,its a FUN thought anyway.

After the Clear Wolf, which was only good looking until you threw it the first time, came the Ebonite Gemstone series. This was, for me, the most beautiful series of balls every made. Colored, translucent polyester over a very dynamic core, the same core as in the Werewolf. Here's a good picture of the core:

They came in red, green, blue, and purple. Here's the red:

I drilled one for a spare ball and made the mistake of drilling it label; that sucker flared a lot for a spare ball; missed so many 10 pins, I had to give up throwing. I wonder if it would have hooked like the new Lane#1 XXXL.
