True definition of a "dead ball"?
« on: February 29, 2008, 04:49:51 AM »
I hear a lot that after so many games the ball "dies".  What exactly is meant by this?
I also read on hear that after their ball died, they love it now or they shoot 300 with it.

If the ball is truly "dead", wouldn't it be junk? Not very controllable? Doesn't carry?  Doesn't hook?

Usually means the cover has absorded too much oil and now it has little to no reaction on the lanes. Normally it's a matter is poor equipment maintenance.
