Dang open frame.

Hello all,

Last night I had league and shot pretty good.  Nothing under 200 but an open in the 7th frame of the third game cost me a 700.  I ended up shooting 244, 226, 202, for a 672 series.  The worst part was I missed a freakin 6-10.  I pulled the damn ball.  But oh well lat is life or bowling.

Happened to me too 2 weeks back.

Was working on a clean series...I THINK i've had one before.  Anyhow, 9th frame of the 3rd game I pull it a little, it hits the dry spot and goes high for a 4-6-10.  Next frame I over adjust and leave a washout.  199 game and 667 series :--------------------
Carry the 8.  be a good lefty.

I feel the pain.  I had a nice game get ruined because of a 6-10 when I sailed by the 6 and took the 10 clean.  To add insult to injury, I've been missing way to many 10 pins, so to hit one clean just really burned me up.

You probably don't want to hear about my 3 open frames the first game (which turned out to be a 196) and 677 series then do you?

i had ALMOST the exact same thing happen to me the other day

needed a 209 for the 700, started with mostly spares, but still had a realtively easy chance to make it as long as i picked up the 6-10 in the ninth

i did you one better, i didnt just MISS the 6-10, i chopped the 6 off instead

ended up with 692, to make it 3 series above 690 this year for High School with 0 700s
what can ya do
