Remember the old BallReviews.com?
« on: February 03, 2004, 04:52:12 AM »
I somehow got to this thru a search engine:

http://www.ballreviews.com/auction/

This is the color scheme that the old BallReviews.com was.

BTW -- it looks as though we have a ton of juniors on this site now and that they have taken over.  What happened???

yeah i remember that.  has anyone been around long enough to remember the old brown/orange/black scheme when the site first started, and when the message board started all of the topics were threaded and there were no sections.  those were the days.

....sorry my shift button is broken

Personally the blue makes the site look really dull. It makes me want to exit the site.

Scott, remember when you sponsored our team - The Burning Sensations - at the Junior World Team Challenge by giving us those BallReviews.com shirts? That's what happened. I guess a team that wears orange pants and a BallReviews.com shirt gets some attention.

yeah, we wore orange pants to the tournament. People loved it. They remembered us for being the BallReviews.com Burning Sensations more than bowling good, but oh well. Thanks again for the shirts- it really means a lot to me and the team. Please come back and visit us often!

I miss the old site as well. The blue background was a lot better.

The blue background sucked.  I used to go in through bowling.com, which used a different color scheme, similar to what we have now.

White letters on a dark blue background = high contrast, hard on the eyes.  Black letters on an off-white background = medium contrast, easy to read, easy on the eyes.

I won't be adding my name to any petition to put it back the way it was.
