the other day I saw the X-mas list on my old ladies phone. it had my name on it on the front screen. I didn't mean to read it, but it was out there...
I saw (another) Seahawks Jersey, blades, and..... a four ball roller!
A storm 4 ball roller....
I don't need it, and if I tell her, she might get upset because I saw the list. If she gets it, then I have to use it and I can't sell it. I prefer a two ball roller and a tote, or a slim 3 ball roller and a tote. 4 ball rollers take up too much space...... but enough pockets for my extra crap I take to the alley - like my "healthy" snacks lol.
I think I'll tell her that I don't need that bag.
Few Christmas' ago, she got me a bowling ball and ended up with two of the same bowling balls.... well, actually one i had was a solid and she got me a pearl..

Why not just try to make to work? Keep a open mind with it, you may never know that it may work out for you.

Just hint around...tell her how much u enjoy double rollers and totes. And tell her how u don't like big bulky bags.

Or give her hints of what you really want and see if she changes what she gives you. You can downplay the importance of a 4-ball roller while talking of the benefits of a 2/3 ball roller and tote.
I personally use a tote for crap (tape and other essentials) and a 3-ball slim roller for balls. I convinced my wife this was a better option while changing lanes in a tournament. You can have your own reasons.

I use a backpack with a shoe compartment and 2 and 3 ball totes all day. I don't think I'll ever go back to a big bag with pockets.

You better take that bag with a smile lol. If she already ordered it or purchased it through some route and you start crapping on it...smile and say thanks haha.

Some of you guys made me feel worse for some reason lol....
I've learned she's never wrong even when she is.
I've learned, when I catch her doing wrong, she turns the table and I ended at fault and confused. for example...when I pointed out she made an illegal U-turn, I got blamed for messing the radio station, the stove being on, and taking forever to fix the dry wall.....????
I've learned, she has this glow in her eyes when she sees me use all the stuff she bought me.... Snap On KRA tool box, bosh power tools, Iwatch, etc.....and I've seen the flames in her eye when she finds things still in its original package or tags.... like them silly looking house slippers, the BOSS cardigan - guys with bellies shouldn't wear cardigans.....
I'm just going to to tell her it was an accident... the notification pop up while her phone was next to me.... ;D :o 8) 8)

Maybe you can go online in front of her and nonchalantly show her a bag that you like, and say that it's a really nice bag and you are thinking of getting one. Then browse and pull up the 4 ball rollers and just mention that those are too bulky and how much the 3 ball totes (or what ever style you like) is much better, without letting the cat out of the bag.
Don't feel bad, it is what it is. 8)

My wife once bought me a bowling ball for a present. I used it a bit and didnt like it much, so I sold it.
BIG MISTAKE!
In the ensuing 25 years, she has NOT bought me anything bowling related, and has said she will never buy me anything bowling related ever again, in spite of me dropping hints.
You got some ten year advice, now take some from a guy married 37 yrs. Just STFU and love the bag. Use it diligently and religiously, and never firget to remind her hiw much you love it.

I've owned a storm 4 rollers, the streamline and a thunder. If I get it, we need a bigger garage. There's a reason why I got the Vise 3 ball roller... just like moving between lanes, I have to squeeze between the SUV and my hatchback. My truck got kicked out of the garage.
Side note: here's the thing about the garage. MAJORITY OF THE SH!T THAT'S IN THERE..... are all hers!! and she complains about my tool box, my two bowling bags, and my tub with the spinner.. she complains it takes up too much space.
Also, I have an outdoor shed for my tools and equipment.. somehow she put boxes of her old clothes and shoes in there too lol.... can't win man....actually yesterday, we just donated 7 large (55 gallon yard bags) bags of clothes, shoes, blankets, and pillows to the shelter and orphans. Last month I saw a mother and her two kids living in their van outside the bowling alley, next to jack in the box......I'm thankful for all the blessing we have at home and to do the simple things many families can't do.
