Everybody else gets on here just about everytime they shoot an honor score, or their first 600 or 700... so why can't I?
I just wanted to let you all know that I shot my 2nd 800 last night (Wednesday, 2/4/04). Please don't take this as me bragging or anything - I started not to even post this thread because I feared that everybody would start saying that I'm just a "bragger" because of what happened in that "phenom won't hook" thread in the TRACK forum a while back (SOME people really blew that all out of proportion as I didn't mean it the way SOME people took it!!!). But after being enocouraged by Luckylefty and Doc Hollywood I decided what the heck.
I basically wanted to publicly thank alot of people for helping me out with my game and giving me knowledge on certain balls, polishes, sanding tips, etc... Some of you know I've been bowling for right at 3 years and I just didn't want to get on here and say, "I shot my 2nd 800 in just 6 months", and then have to hear, "Shut up, you're just a bragger." But after being enocouraged by Luckylefty and Doc Hollywood to get on here and post it, I decided what the heck.
I'm telling you this because I really value everything most of you guys have to say about ball's, polishes, sanding tips, etc... and so you'll know that your "tips" to me have all been put to good use! I know that I've probably been a pest to guys like Luckylefty, Charlest, Doc Hollywood, Jeffrevs, EXCALIBER, RandyO, 10 In The Pit, BrianN, da Shiv, Doug Sterner, etc... (so many I can't name, so don't be mad if I forgot you).
That's why I message all of you guys about about 17.38 times a day asking you what this polish does, what that polish does, how this ball reacts, how that ball rolls, how this ball compares to this ball, etc...
I shot my first 800 (264, 268, 268) on August 14, 2003... and now 6 months later on February 4, 2004 I shoot 803 (268, 236, 299). In the last game, I left a solid 8 pin and shot 299.
What's odd is that my 1st 800 was with a Columbia MASS CHAOS (bought used with only 10 games on it) that I won off of ebay for a high bid of $19.99 + shipping... and now this 803 was shot with a Columbia EXTREME CHAOS (bought used with like 10-15 games on it) that I also won on ebay for a high bid of like $12.00 + shipping. I got these balls so cheap and shoot these kind of scores with them... it's just a crazy thing, I guess some people's junk is MY treasure... lol...
I love these kind of particle ball's that get plenty of length and have a big backend!!! I Would love to get my hands on another MASS and EXTREME with low games on them. I'm thinking about the Hammer SHARP BLADE...

PS If I could just stop thinkin about bowling and do it maybe I could post some scores. Last time in a tourney 1 1/2 years ago. Last competitive set 4 months ago. Total sets for score in last 4 years, 25? maybe!

Congrats, I am also hoping to shoot my first 800 before shooting 700. Have shot two 695 last month in just 10 months of bowling.

I say congrats damn good job. I even like to hear people high scores like that , makes me think its possible lol. My highest game is a 265 and a 600.

You know, whenever someone posts that they bowled badly and blames their POS bowling ball, somebody will step up to say, "It isn't the ball, it's the bowler." I'd say that's the case this time too. Good job!
