We, as American humans, complain and whine about how hard we have it, how many curves life throws at us, until we see and recognize those who have so much less. Then we feel truly petty. Few of us know what true hardship is.
So, folks, who dare to read such threads as this, thank whatever deities you serve, worship, pray or whine to, that you do not need the help of others to survive. However, also remember that no one is alone who does not want to be alone.
Merry Christmas
Happy Hannukkah
Happy Kwanzaa (if 'happy' is the correct adjective)
Happy Winter Solstice (From now on, the days get longer agai!)
(I won't say "Happy Holidays" because these are not holidays; these are holydays.)
If that doesn't cover everything, I'm out of ideas ....
