. . the first game last night 300-299. That was the only point the whole night the other team got too haha, we took the points 29-1. He finished first, it was his first 300, and I put the last one where I wanted to, just wrapped a 10. Would have been a rare 300-300 tie, but I'd have felt bad, guy shoots his first 300 ever and has to split his point? Already got my ring for the year and this way I get another one of those cool crystal trophies too. Who out there has been involved in a game like this? I've been bowling a long time and this is a first for me.

I have seen several times where an bowler had to bowl 300 for his team to win by 1 pin.

I got a good between a team mate and myself.......we both run up the front 9 one night. I leadoff and he followed. we also have two different styles, I play more down and in and he hooks the entire lane. I was up first and threw a good shot, a little light, could have carried......7-10 in the pocket. so I make the 7 and my team mate gets up there.......cranks one up wham! 7-10 in the pocket.......our team lost the game by 3 sticks....

I've shot 300 and not won the point.  9-30-08 I was bowling a friend in our scratch league.  We both took turns in the 10th frame throwing shots, with myself going first.  His last shot carried Brooklyn, so I wanted the point out of principle, but the rules say a strike is a strike... Fun times, though.
