I messed up

First night of bowling on my "fun" mixed league.

Started out kind of slow, opened 3 of first 4 and ended with a 185 1st game.

After that I proceeded to strike 22 of my last 24 for 279 and 258 games and a 722 series.  

Luckily my teammates didn't bowl all that great and they can hold me up while I brung my avg down where it needs to be.

I think you bowled great but the last sentence makes me wonder if you are going to do something deliberate to get your average down. Why does it 'needs' to be down?

No, I bowl to the best of my ability every time I go up to the bowling alley.  What I meant was I am not a 240 avg bowler, but the last couple of years around 195 to 200.

I would love to bowl 240 all season but now that is not very likely

I want everyone to guess who my partner is for BFDT this year.  PLUS, he's just getting warmed up.

Good shooting, nothing wrong with averaging 240.

Congrats!!  I did pretty much the same thing, only with a 704.  Hope you keep rolling well.  Here's to us trying to keep these high avereages!
