« on: October 10, 2006, 10:46:50 AM »
hi im going on holiday to live with my uncle for 2 months starting february 2007 in florida.

my question is i am a british citizen and i have taken notice of the JBT and was wondering if you can play in any of the competitions without being an american citizen?

i would really like to bowl in it so if anyone knows the answer that would be fantastic

If you are 21 or under as of August 1, 2006, you would be eligible to bowl in the Keystone JBT's. You do not have to be USBC sanctioned to participate in the tour. I'm sure they would be happy to have you join them. The "Miami" region is run by a very nice lady, Ana Koff. Her e-mail is aikoff@aol.com.

It varies. Here in the southwest they put down shots or just leave it as house shots. JBT is really great experience to bowl in and can be very competitive. more information jbtbowling.com or jbtsw.com (southwest version)

Contact Brent Sims at the Kegel Training Center. It would be worth it to pay them a visit. In addition to possibly training at the Training Center, Kegel now has a monthly tournament at the Training Center, featuring challenging lane conditions and unique formats. I believe the next tournament at Kegel for the juniors is an all-plastic ball tournament. Should be exciting!
