Vise Tape
« on: October 15, 2011, 01:35:14 AM »
   Hey all,

Does anyone have a resource that shows the thicknesses of the different colors of Vise tape.  I am talking about the rolls which come in several colors.  Thanks in advance.

Who needs a 300 or 800, when I have a 294 and a 295!?!?!

If you are talking about the rolls of Vise Blue/Green/Purple I think it is a color choice rather than a thickness. As far as the Hada patch pre cut 40 pc tapes it is more of the "weave" than thickness for faster to slower release.

Use "IT" and BOWL UP A STORM!!

That is exactly what I am talking about raider.  I was trying to tell someone there was no difference in the colors, but they keep insisting there was a difference.  Thanks.

There is a big difference, though, between the white Bio Skin Ultra and the blue or silver Bio Skin Pro lines. I ran into a show that was selling all of them under the header "Bio Skin" when they're actually two different products. The white is really, really tacky. The blue and silver are not.

If you are talking about the different pre cut hada patches for your thumb, there probably is a slight difference in thickness. They appear to be made of different materials, or different densities of a weave of the same material. This produces differences in the feel of how quickly you can get out of the thumb hole. It also stands to reason that different materials, or the same material with a denser weave will have different thicknesses. However, It's definitly not a noticeable difference. It's probably on the order of 1/10 of the difference in thicknesses between pieces of white bowling tape.
