where did they go, if I was on the pro tour, I want gold pins!

This topic made me think... what if once you made the exempt cut, instead of getting the minimum payout of $2000 or whatever, what about if they simply devided the total prize money between all 32/64 in the tournament/matchplay, with maybe just an additional 10k for the winner... then these pro's would be getting a more decent and reliable income, and playing more for the glory of winning than the money... i mean, do any bowlers do it for the money?? we do it for the love of competing...
