I suck. Plain and simple .. and heres why

Ive bowled with great form, 200 avg, and more ball speed and revs than I do now, til I was injured quite a bit this past decade, and especially even until 2006 when I had to quite until just recently

Im trying to upload a video now. Ive had some injuries in the past 6-10 yrs that really get to me.. A torn ACL and MCL on my slide leg, torn Rotator cuff and tendon and nerve damage in my hand, Both on my bowling arm..

So over the years I have altered thing to help take some stress off things.. ESPECIALLY the shoulder . I have a little compilation vid Im trying to upload now but its taking forever, so that you guys could help me.. I know Im bending my elbow a bit and am a little stiff on the release, but hopefully that will come in time, with practice..

But what is the cause and solution for getting a nice smooth release, instead of the hop?

One of the people who tried to help you when you asked a few days ago for new equipment... Now you are trying to ask to fix a release problem. Do yourself a favor fix your errored release before you bother dropping money on equipment. There's no solution in a box, it's in your hands. As for the little guy comment... No need for the name calling but you are about 30-40 pins behind... Think twice. I was only trying to help... and "call it how I see it"

I explained what the problem was.. and why im moving forward.. your a little internet creeper too huh? looking me up on different sights now? I ask everything I do here over there.. if you were smart you would have seen that, in THIS forum.. No you cannot be my facebook friend

It is probably the angle of your down swing your not getting the ball out in front instead it is right into the ground so the ball bounces.

From your own description above, you are already aware of at least part of your problem.

Try to straighten out your armswing during your pushaway, and concentrate on good cadence/timing to the line.

If you still experience problems, then perhaps your approach needs help (this is often where the problem lies, the release point just emphasizes what one does right or wrong during it).

Also, how does the ball fit in your hand? If you don't have a properly fit ball, AND your form is south, then your game will certainly suffer.

Finally, if you get more confused and can't figure things out on your own and truly want to improve, then seek out the advice of a qualified coach.
