Bowling/Golf -- one thing is the same
« on: June 29, 2004, 11:36:38 PM »
It always puts a smile on my face when I see people who think that if they spend more money for sporting equipment, it will make them better, or at least it might make others think of them as being great, but just having a bad day. Has anybody ever seen a golfer who was playing with $3,000 worth of clubs, but couldn't hit the ball past his nose? How about those bowlers who just have to have the most expensive balls and shoes, but still are near the bottom of the average sheet?
