bowled decen tonight, learned something new.
« on: March 31, 2004, 10:02:34 AM »
First game was a warm up, but ended up shooting 180. Not bad for me and for a warm up game no less.  173 is my average.  I used my predator pursuit for that game.

2nd game decided to use the primetime just for kicks.  Had to get lined up and re-adjust my marks and all.  By the 3rd frame I was all dialed in.  Usually it takes me a whole game sometimes to figure out where I need to throw to get a good pocket hit after changing balls.  2nd game score 220. Highest game with my new primetime.

3rd game used the same ball, but I wasn't too consistent with my ball speed and the score went down. Since i was throwing slower the ball was hooking more. No problem just move 3 boards left on the approach and 2 boards left on the lanes, problem fixed. Score 175. Ok but still hit average.

I was releasing the ball a lot more consistently tonight which I am happy about. Only had 2 splits all night. Usually I leave about 8 or 9 splits when bowling 3-5 games a night.  7 open frames, 2 of which were splits. I do need some spare practice. I had eight 9 counts, three 8 counts, three 7 counts, two 6 counts. I guess thats too much detail that anyone would want to read, but I had to share cause i had a good night, well a good night for an average bowler like me.

Hopefully I'll stay consistent and be a 190+ average bowler by the end of the year.
